"To be a Ranger is to sense the sacred trust of upholding all that such a name means in this shrine of football. They must be true in their conception of what the Ibrox tradition seeks from them. No true Ranger has ever failed in the tradition set him." - William Struth

A Brief Glimpse Into The Future

Written by: The Ref

It's a new year, but still we have the same media bigots attacking our club with impunity. Last week it was Graham Spiers again as he stated, quite incorrectly, that our club had died, and although I don't want to dwell on the past, his comments will not be forgotten. Instead I'm going to make some predictions for the future.

Celtic get a small fee for Samaras in the transfer window in an effort to cut costs on wages and get something for him before he can leave the club for nothing in the summer. They replace him with a Norwegian by the name of Johansen who is on a much lower salary and will join Bangura, Pukki, Balde, Forster, Mouyokolo, Boerrigter and Biton in becoming world class overnight. In the summer, all but Johansen will be whored by every media outlet available as Celtic desperately try to recoup some of the money they desperately need.

The SPFL premiership announce that its first ever sponsorship deal is imminent with a list of blue chip companies lining up to bid for the privilege of sponsoring the most uncompetitive league in world football. Finally, a short term cut-price deal will be announced with a small company in a desperate attempt to avoid another season without a sponsor, and Regan, Doncaster and Lawwell are heralded as saviours of the game.

Sadly this will not come in time to save Hearts, as they drop into the SPFL Championship. Despite still being in administration, the football governing bodies bend the rules to try to assist Hearts. Regan will compare this with his efforts to save our club after the disastrous reign of Craig Whyte.

Regan will continue to peddle the lie that his efforts to have our club placed in the first division were an effort to help our club, instead of admitting what we all know; he knew, Lawwell knew, Doncaster knew, and even big Jock knew, that without Rangers the SPL would die. Die it did, and in a desperate attempt to suck as much money from Rangers as they could, the SPL clubs absorbed the SFL giving them the opportunity to take a percentage of the Rangers pound as the biggest draw in Scottish football, both in attendances and in viewing figures.

Attendances in the SPFL Premiership continue to fall and clubs teeter on the verge of financial collapse.

Celtic desperately try to distance themselves from the dodgy deals which saw them acquire large areas of real estate for paltry sums to use as collateral against low interest loans taken out with the Co-operative bank. They claim no knowledge of any wrongdoing or collusion, instead deflecting all blame onto corrupt politicians and civil servants who failed to disclose having a conflict of interests in aforementioned deals. This despite some of those very same politicians being board members at the club.

The Scottish Assembly and Scottish press decline to comment.

The SFA and SPFL also decline to comment after admitting that they too have a conflict of interests, mainly through being appointed to their positions by Peter Lawwell.

The SFA Integrity Hotline becomes nothing more than another tool to attack Rangers, as obsessed bheasts bombard it every minute of every day desperately trying to find a way of bringing further punishments on our club and deflect attention away from their own problems. The new SFA security and integrity officer Peter McLaughlin helps complete Peter Lawwell's jigsaw, which leads to Celtic's complete monopoly of people in places of governance in the Scottish game. The press don't ask who appointed Mr McLaughlin, nor what processes were followed prior to his appointment because Peter tells them not to.

After the announcement that claims that members of HM Armed Forces took part in sectarian singing while participating in Rangers tribute to them were without foundation and a complete waste of police time, Celtic and its supporters redouble their efforts to ensure that this year's event will be the last. Already they are planning on having people there to sing "The Billy Boys" while others record it, so that they can send it to police Scotland. Instead of investigating those who make these false allegations, the police do nothing.

The Sun refuse to print an apology to Rangers supporters after running a story based on lies by an attention seeking bheast who claimed that his dog, endearingly named 'Zombie Slayer' was attacked by sectarian Rangers supporters because it was wearing a Celtic shirt. No arrests were ever made, no evidence was ever found and police don't caution the lying bheast for wasting police time.

Finally, Ally McCoist leaves the club in the summer, amid claims that he was not backed by the board. The Rangers Supporters Trust, The Assembly (RSA), Sons of Struth and their handful of followers all blame the 'spivs' at Ibrox and again demand the board resigns. The board respond by appointing a manager with a proven track record, knowledge on modern football and the team adopts a new style with a high tempo passing game and technical ability the cornerstones.

Ok, the last bit is just wishful thinking.
